Do you dream of hearing the soft swish of skis cutting lines in feather-light powder - with each turn, an arc of snow shooting up as you fly down the tree-lined slope in the morning sunshine? If so, you are dreaming of Alberta home to the Canadian Rockies!

Albertans spend half the year in the snow and they embrace it to the full. But it’s not just about skiing and boarding. There are other sports that share the winter spotlight. Ever see 440 people playing in a single game of pond hockey?  It’s the world’s largest, in our Peace region. For a total thrill in the ‘trending now’ department, combine dog sledding with cross country skiing and experience skijoring.

For some, the preferred winter activity is watching the snow fall – through the window, in front of a crackling fire with a hot beverage. Any way you play it, winter is wondrous in Alberta.

Have we whetted your appetite?  Then read on to learn more about Alberta’s winter wonderland and you could be a prize winner too!  The names of all agents who successfully complete both modules between now and the end of March 2012 will go into the prize draw to win one of the following fantastic prizes - a Flip Camera or one of three I-pod Nanos.  Also if you are one of the first 25 agents who completes both modules you will win a £15 i-tunes voucher.
